Natural Treatment for Fibromyalgia

An excellent home remedy for fibromyalgia is cabbage juice with orange, as well as tea from St. John’s wort or St. John’s wort, since both have relaxing and detoxifying properties that alleviate the discomfort caused by this disease.

These two home remedies are the best natural way to treat fibromyalgia and can be used together throughout the day to ensure a better result.

1. St. John’s wort tea

St. John’s wort tea, also called hypericum, has relaxing properties, so it helps reduce the pain caused by fibromyalgia, as well as being used to treat mild to moderate depression and to treat anxiety. Its scientific name is  Hypericum perforatum .

Ingredients

1 teaspoon of San Juan herbs;

500 ml of water.

Preparation method

Put the ingredients in a pot and wait for them to boil, when boiling, turn off the heat and cover the pot. Let cool (with the lid on), strain and drink 3 to 5 cups per day. 

2. Cabbage juice with orange

The home remedy for fibromyalgia with cabbage is rich in calcium, iron, phosphorus and vitamins A, B and C, which help tone muscles, strengthen bones, improve blood circulation, increase energy and detoxify the body, being excellent for decrease the pain caused by fibromyalgia.

Ingredients

1 glass of pure orange juice;

2 cabbage leaves;

Sugar to taste.

Preparation method

Blend the ingredients and then take without straining. It is recommended to drink this juice twice a day, once on an empty stomach and once in the late afternoon.

You can vary the flavor of the juice, using other fruits such as pineapple, lemon or apple.

3. Gingko biloba tea

Ginkgo biloba is an ancient Chinese medicinal plant rich in flavonoids and terpenoids, making it a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant; Helps to improve concentration, avoid memory loss, combat anxiety and depression (one of the main causes of fibromyalgia).

Ingredients

5 dried leaves or 1 tablespoon of dried gingko biloba octopus;

1 cup of boiling water.

Preparation method

Mix all the ingredients and let stand for 5 to 10 minutes, strain and take 4 times a day. It is also possible to ingest gingko biloba as a supplement, the dose is 2 capsules per day or whatever is indicated by the doctor.
